This exquisite silk column dress festooned with row after row of coloured silk fringing in red & violet evokes the flapper aesthetic of the Roaring 20′s, however we would date this piece to the late 60′s, possibly early 70′s. A little birdy told us that this was a stage costume made for a fairly popular Noo Yawk celebrity, which only adds to the glamour of an already dramatic piece. This piece also includes a gorgeous scarf/wrap in the same floral patterned silk in which the dress is lined. An incredible find that is absolutely one of a kind.
