Designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel’s S/S 1997 runway, this piece sits squarely in Lagerfeld’s late 90's pop graphic era, when the house was leaning into bold colour, irreverence, and a knowingly playful take on the Chanel codes. Cut with short sleeves, a sharp little collar, and a deliberately abbreviated length, it functions somewhere between jacket, cover-up, and ultra-mini dress.
