A gorgeous statement piece from French lingerie and ready to wear designer Chantal Thomass, this jacket dates to the F/W 1990 runway collection. Made of hand dyed crimson ostrich feathers which are set onto the base fabric in a twisted fashion to create a bias cut fabric effect, allowing the feathers to sit perfectly in place on the body and not create bulk like some feather pieces can, this is fully lined and has a slightly cropped shape & no closures. Made in France, the label of the jacket is individually numbered denoting a demi-couture piece, runway sample or custom order.
