An extraordinary pair of collector's Alexander McQueen jeans from the house's F/W 2010 'Angels & Demons' collection, the final collection conceived under Lee Alexander McQueen before his passing. Crafted from dark indigo denim, the low-rise bootcut silhouette is elevated by some of McQueen's most distinctive iconography. Sculptural black leather winged skull appliqués frame both the front hip pockets before continuing across the back pockets, transforming an everyday wardrobe staple into an unmistakable work of design. Square skull engraved buttons complete the front fastening, adding another subtle signature detail.

The use of the winged skull motif in this collection prompted the filing of a lawsuit against McQueen by the Hells Angels motorcycle gang in 2010 alleging misuse of their trademark ‘Deaths Head’ winged skull logo on articles of clothing and accessories including these jeans. Eight days later the suit was settled with an agreement by the label that all merchandise featuring the insignia would be pulled from their website & stores, with all unsold items to be destroyed. The resulting scarcity of these pieces available on the market coupled with the fact that ‘Angels & Demons’ was the final collection designed by McQueen before his death has made these items highly sought after & prized by collectors.
