Dating to 1967, this incredible Courreges dress is a numbered couture piece made of pale pink wool with a large white logo in vinyl and chunky white zipper detail at the neckline & hip pocket. This is a fully lined wrap style with internal snaps and features both its numbered Courreges label and a label from 'Pink Boutique, Nice'. The matching jacket to this dress was featured in an exhibition called "Pink: The History of a Punk, Pretty, Powerful Colour" last year at the FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) Museum in New York, allowing us to accurately date this piece as a rare example of Andre Courreges highly collectible 60's output (see coverage including a picture of the coat in Vogue Paris here:
