Dating to 1969, this Christian Dior by Grosse necklace is made in Germany and is a beautiful example of Dior's mid-century costume jewellery. Gold plated in bright yellow gold, this displays a Native American influence that speaks to the ethnic/tribal trend popular during the late 60's. It features an oval shaped gold tone pendant with a central stone surrounded by a double halo of faux pearl & turquoise beads. The pendant also features gold charms and more beads dangling from the bottom, and is suspended from a eight strands of gold chain, also adjoined toi the pendant with more pearl & turquoise beads. Beautifully constructed, this is in immaculate condition with no tarnishing or missing beads.
