Crafted from a combination of calfskin and lambskin leather, this striking mini skirt from John Galliano's F/W 2006 collection for Christian Dior features an intentionally distressed, weathered finish that echoes the dark, decadent mood of the season. F/W 2006 drew heavily on heavy metal, goth and rock chick references, with distressed leathers, hard-edged hardware and body-conscious silhouettes appearing throughout the runway and campaign.

The skirt is cut with a low rise waist and softly sculpted shape, finished with subtle pleating and darted construction through the lower hem. An adjustable front zip allows the slit to be worn higher or lower, while hip pockets and belt loops add structure to the silhouette. Signature Dior hardware appears throughout, including CD logo snap buttons at the waistband, a Dior logo zipper pull at the front and additional Dior logo pulls at the rear pockets. A highly collectible Galliano era Dior piece that captures the darker, sexier direction of the Fall 2006 collection.
