Made in Engand, this Vivienne Westwood Gold Label skirt dates to the early 90's when the label was made in England. This particular design - known as the riding skirt - was first introduced in the F/W 1987 'Harris Tweed' collection which also included blue velvet corsets, however due to the mini length we believe this is a slightly more recent piece. High waisted with an A-line silhouette, the wrap waistband fastens with two gold oval Orb logo buttons and the skirt's flared hips are accentuated with oversized flap pockets. Constructed from lush blue velvet, this skirt is fully lined in silky pale pink acetate and features a back vent. A beautifully tailored & rare example of Westwood's early 90's work, this is in excellent vintage condition.
