Made in Engand, this Vivienne Westwood Gold Label skirt dates to the S/S 1994 'Cafe Society' collection. It is high waisted with a panelled front & pleated back to create an exaggerated bustle shape characteristic of the designer's aesthetic from this time period, which drew heavily on 19th century silhouettes. Constructed from striped cotton reminiscent of traditional men's shirting, this skirt is fully lined and features an embroidered orb logo at the front & engraved mother of pearl effect orb logo button at the rear to fasten. Fully lined, this is a beautifully tailored & rare example of Westwood's early 90's work.
