An instantly recognisable pair of runway heels from Tom Ford's S/S 1999 collection for Gucci, these slingback heels are crafted in midnight navy grosgrain effect textile with a rounded closed toe, slender black slingback straps and sculpted kitten heels in a striking electric turquoise blue. The vivid flash of colour at the heel is quintessentially late 90's Tom Ford Gucci: minimal in line, but unexpected and highly graphic in execution.

Variations of this silhouette appeared repeatedly on the S/S 1999 runway, styled throughout the collection with everything from embellished trousers to sleek black tailoring.
