From D&G's S/S 2002 collection, this fitted pencil skirt features the house’s now-iconic Danza detergent print, translating Italian laundry packaging into a bold all-over graphic composition. Saturated in cobalt blue, red, yellow and white, the print appeared across the collection, most recognisably on the oversized carryall shown on the runway.
Cut with a low-rise waist and slim silhouette, the skirt has a sporty, body-skimming shape and is finished with a tan leather D&G logo patch at the rear waistband. An iconic example of early 2000s D&G’s pop art influenced approach, where everyday commercial imagery was reworked into statement ready to wear.
